Those fabulous people over at the Disney Junior offices are at it again! They have released two new DVDs for the small loves of our lives to watch over and over and over again!
At least that’s how it happens in our house. Gerty and Boof will watch anything once, but only their favourites make it onto high rotation and Mickey and Handy Manny are always firm favourites!
Well, thanks to my friends over at Porter Novelli and Disney Junior I have two fabulous DVDs, the kids are sure to love, to give away to a lucky reader! Just to let you know – they do not pay me to say nice things, they do give me a copy of the DVD to review and of course they give one away as a prize to a lucky reader too – but we wont complain about that will we? So, the views expressed here are my own and they are honest. My opinion cannot be bought. Actually it probably could be, seriosuly, I’d advocate a boring movie in exchange for say a million dollars… but really, it doesn’t affect my integrity too much because I don’t know anyone willing to pay me a million dollars.
Before you enter, you might like to know what it is that has made it onto high rotation in our place:

A collection of some of Mickeys sillier adventures. Gertys all time favourite episode stars on this DVD. “Mum I wanna watch the one with baby Goofy”. Yes, you heard me, baby Goofy. You see the team at the clubhouse find all sorts of silly goings on when Goofy accidently activates the professors time machine and turns himself into a baby! Fun, adventure and learning ensues. Then of course you have the episode where the hiccups just wont go away and the one where Mickey cannot stop rhyming all of his words! Needless to say, in true Clubhouse style, the friends along with that helpful pal Tootles solve all sorts of puzzles and learn lots of new things as they work their way to a solution to their problems.

Well, according to Gerty this one is all about Handy Manny eating yummy popcorn at the movies. However, a more detailed review would tell you all about Manny and the tools going to the movies (along with most of the other people in Sheetrock Hills) but having their evening interrupted when the projector breaks. Of course Manny is on the job but what about everyone who wants to watch the movie??? No problem! The Tools will entertain them, from re-enactments from their favourite movies to stand up comedy routines, the Tools show that everyone has their own individual talent.
So do you think you your kids would like to score a copy of these fabulous titles from Disney Junior courtesy of Porter Novelli? Yes? Ok then, listen up coz it’s super easy to win!
There are just two steps:
1. Simply leave a comment to let me know what your childs favourite DVD is at the moment.
2. Share either via Twitter or Facebook (it’s really easy – see those ‘share’ buttons? Just click on them
Here’s the nitty gritty of it all.
The winner will be drawn on the 16th September. Entries close at 7pm and a winner will be drawn using Random.org soon thereafter. The winner will be notified by email and will be announced right here on Milk n Cookies.
If the winner does not establish contact within 48 hours of winning then a new winner will be drawn. (unfortunately I have now had two competitions where I have tried for in excess of a month to contact the winner to no avail. I do not think this is fair to others who would love to win and are easily contactable – see below how to be easily contactable)
Finally, please ensure I can contact you easily, to do that, when you leave a message, make sure you type your correct email address. I have had two competition winners be un contactable and have had to redraw competitions because they have simply not responded to emails. So please check your junkmail folder or even better go to Milk ‘n’ Cookies on Facebook and like the page, then I will be able to contact you via the Facebook page as well as via email.

Miss Five is loving ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’ at the moment. We haven’t purchased it, just hired it and she remembered the story line after seeing it at the movies a few months ago. We’ve watched it three times in the last two days, and there’s going to be more watching I’m sure.
my daughter loves Little Eisnsteins and Minnie Private Detective she can’t get enough of them
My little one can’t stop watching “Up”!
Congratulations Cyndie!!! Look out for your email from me
Thank you Casey! I have replied your email.

They love any of the Toy Story movies.
I really after 9 years of being Mama, had not ever purchased the Disney Mickey & the like DVD’s before….., but after winning one of your previous competitions & having it play 24/7 for my non movie’d kiddo, I would have to say not grabbing them earlier was a mistake!! So I guess I will try for a win again. Thanks M’n'K x
Robba recently posted..green with envy…
My little ones fav at the moment funnily enough is handy manny but he only has the one and the number of times he has watched it is driving me just a little crazy time for a new one me thinks :0)
My girls (3 + 1.5) don’t have a favorite DVD yet. In fact only the yo has ever watched TV. She gets to see about an hour of Playschool each week. Less TV has made for a massive vocab for someone her age
It’s just a matter of time before we introduce her to all our childhood Disney loves though!
The little one is loving the classic cinderella.
my son loves anything to do with Barney
