It’s winter, the snow season is upon us, we will soon enjoy the Queens Birthday long weekend, there will be Christmas’ in July and there is the end of the financial year but joy of all joys – there are TOY SALES!!!
One of the perks of blogging is being given great stuff to give away, being offered opportunities to run competitions with great prizes. Now remember a while back I told you I would be doing this? And that I would only accept review/giveaway/competition offers if they added value to you? Well how would you like a $100 Kmart Gift Card? Yes? Hell yes??? Thought so!
Well, I have a $100 Kmart Gift Card to give away to one lucky reader courtesy of Kmart.
So with just under a month until the Kmart Toy Sale begins, it’s a good idea to start making a note of what purchases you need to make for Christmas. There’s the stuff you’ll buy to help Santa out, Nephews, Nieces, Brothers, Sisters….. Christmas really is an expensive time of year. That’s why I love love love the mid year sales! Especially Kmarts Toy Sale. Those in the know, are aware that this is THE time to stock up on the kids Chrissy stuff, not to mention any birthday gifts you are going to need between now and next June. And don’t forget, you can layby too!

Wow is it that time already? I’m going to be looking at some of the Leapfrog toys cause they are a hit in our house
Santa needs all the help he can get so we’ll get a start on Christmas shopping, a bike and football jumper for the big boy.
An iPad would be at the top of my list, so that we could all lay in bed and watch DVD’s together. Or, I could blog. Either/either.
Anything Fisher-Price is top of my Kmart toy catalogue list – reliable, safe, colourful, fun – FP toys never fail to impress my baby girl!

I love a good toy sale, with four kids I usually spend a small fortune at Christmas. Top of my list would be a leapster explorer for my gorgeous little man.
My toy sale must haves are going to be anything lego, anything Star Wars, a couple of Leapster games, and maybe another Lego game for the xbox (can you tell I have sons hehehe) – thanks!
I’d love some Legos, all the kids I know are crazy about them and mine don’t have any yet!
You don’t need my entire list! It’s looooooooooong…….but what I do need to find is a pink, sparkly, princessy, party fairy princess Barbie. (For Miss Phoebe, not Daddy!)
Pick me pick me!
I’ve only very recently discovered the ‘home brand’ K-Mart toys, and they’re great! Excellent value for money, especially when you’re buying for 4 kids. I reckon I’d get some more board games for the big kids, to help fill the rainy midyear holidays.
So bagging me some barbies with that for my big baby! Maybe a barbie vehicle or horse also!
Sesame Street books for my son who loves Elmo and Crayola Colour Explosion packs because they look like awesome fun for both of us!
YAY! i knew it was sneaking up …… but thats only 28 days away! I will be looking for 2 new bikes
as well as birthday shopping with Caydens bday 8 days before the jolly man comes! good luck everyone!
Oh I will be buying up big on all lightening McQueen cars 2 stuff my lil guy is crazy about it!!!!
My son is finally old enough to play with Lego and my daughter is starting a love affair with Barbie dolls so they will be top of my list.

I will be buying the Glee Karaoke for Wii, for me…. Yep, certified Gleek here….!
My daughters first bike! She loves watching her older brother ride his. She is turning two years old in a few weeks, can’t wait to buy her first bike!
Lego is top of our list, it’s enjoyed by everyone at this house
With the boys being 9 and 6 yrs old, they are obsessed with Lego. It is actually the only thing they dont fight over!
Got to be a truck, a big boyish truck. For my son who is about to be smothered by his sisters princess dress ups!
Leapfrog for sure!
Toy sale,Toy sale ,
here we come.
we want a leapfrog my own laptop,
to learn and work very hard,
like mum and dad.
New boardgames are on the top of my list something to keep the kids minds off tv while having fun together.
Anything FISHER PRICE! It truly outlasts all other toys and the kids ALWAYS play with it!
I would get some Lego! Thats a really smart buy,
toys can easily die,
get old or just get forgotten who knows why,
NOT LEGO

Elmo obsessed house at the moment….so an Elmo toy would be perfect. Do they still make tickle me elmos?
Tramampoline!!!!!! (sic)
My kids have decided on Nintendo DS Consoles (nice, for them!) so i will need some help to make it happen for them!
Lego – my son is nearly 5 and only has duplo…time to get him the big boy stuff!!
The top of my list is a trampoline to keep my 2 active jumping bean children happy.
BOOKS!!!
I love getting the book sets that are released for the Toy Sales! My 8yo LOVES books – they are perfect for his imagination, literacy, and a calm activity while I read my TEXT BOOKS lol.
Books are like toys for the imagination, and the toy sales are like the gateway and a $100 Kmart gift card would be the key!
Any educational toys would top the list as my 4 yr old can’t start school till 2013 and will need lots of stimulation!!
we have 2 Nintendo DS’s to buy for this xmas, sure to leave a dent in the budget.
Books! Bedtime has become a little repetitive in our household, we could do with a new bedtime favourite.
WOW!!! I absolutely love the toy sales at Kmart and I really want is an iPod Touch because it’s the 4th Generation version.
MY GRANDKIDS 2 LIKE TO HAVE ELECTRIC SCOOTER BIKE. THANK YOU
